Better than my Smart TV

The apps do not buffer like they do my Smart TV, Hulu works better on my roku than on my Smart TV, I can watch HBO, Showtime, The Blaze and so much more than my Smart TV!!!!

Roku 3 Works Flawlessly

I love this small box that brings a totally new TV experience that's very enjoyable. There are so many tv watching options available. My favorite app is ESPN. I have the Roku 3 located in my home/office of which gives me Sports Center all day without a cable box. It's has also become beneficial with my clients that visit to go over video project that I upload to the Real Player Cloud app and this in turn frees up my computer. The two disappointments I greatly have, is being a subscriber of Comcast/Xfinity and they are not on the list of providers of the HBOGO and SHOWTIME ANYWHERE apps. I've sent letters to Comcast/Xfinity asking why they aren't on the Roku providers list. I've yet to receive an answer.

Remote Control Problems out of the Box

I recently purchased a new Roku 3 and have been having problems with the remote control from day one. It keeps losing it's connection to the box for some reason and to get it to work I have to go through a synch power on process. After it happened for the third time, I resorted to using a Roku app for my cell phone that works just fine. I'm a long time user of Roku and I love the service.

Does what it promises pretty well

Received this as a gift about a month ago and I find it works well for our wireless internet and voice world. We do not have cable or satellite service for video, relying on "rabbit ears 21st century edition" for video. Roku3 provides broader access to cable material at no cost. Some news loads slowly, but most services perform very well.

Device works great, I have the HD model and now have purchased the Roku 3 model model and I am enjoying the earphone plug in that was added to the handset. Stream great and enjoying flixster on the large screen TV. I get to play angry bird on the screen with my grand daughter as well.

I wish I would have bought it sooner. Great for cutting the cable tv cord. I have hulu+ and netflix and it a lot better value than cable tv.
