Handy little device

We got this for Christmas 2013. I haven't used it a ton yet, but found it was very handy for use with Netflix since our TV is a "smart one".

I purchased the Roku 3. It was easy to set up and I could not be happier with all of the free viewing options. Cable wants $20 a month to add digital cable in my bedroom. With HBOGO and the Time Warner Cable apps I have more options with the Roku than on my living room TV set up with TWC digita for just the initial cost of the Roku. Love the ease of navigation with the Roku remote and the headphone option on the remote is awesome.

Loved the Roku 3 so much, just bought a second ! Easy to install / setup - lighting fast - great channel selection - love those "niche" channels - simple to use. Bought the second Roku to replace a Chromecast that I was very disappointed with, it now sits back in its box collecting dust !

I love it! This is the best idea ever. Loads everything fast, and just amazing. I bought one for my daughter and plan to get another one for my bedroom and get rid of cable TV period.

Done with cable

In some ways this is better than cable because it is like having thousands of shows dvr'd, the only complaint I would have is some of the programming with news can be a bit inconsistent. No live sports for the most part. However I can't see myself ever going back to cable, this is how TV is going to be in 5 years
