Worth the money

I bought Roku3 two months back. Totally worth the money. Can stream the channels so clearly, the remote is small and very handy.

great gadget, content not so great

Use it to stream Netflix and Amazon. Easy to install and use. It eliminated all the hassle of streaming w/ a laptop and it doesn't have certain image quality issues that were there when streaming w/ a PC. I wish all content providers were available regardless of ISP (particularly HBOGo). Using alongside cable for now, but I can see cutting the cord soon, watching tv less and less and watching whenever and whatever I want.

Easy to set up, easy to use, the price is right. It doesn't try do to much. So much technology overburdens you with things you don't want or would never use or uses technical language that is gibberish to the ordinary guy.

I recently moved and decided not to get cable, bought Roku instead. Couldn't be more satisfied. I've already convinced 2 friends to get Roku as well.

Exceptional improvement to viewing pleasure

I have owned the Roku 3 for a month. It has been one of the smartest entertainment investments made. The Blu-ray dvd player with internet connection we have frequently had connection glitches whenever we wanted to watch a movie or connect to the internet. The Roku 3 is like part of the TV's operating system. The functions are as smooth as silk. The broad selection of channels (apps) provide a wide array of entertainment choices.

Great product

I bought this so I can watch Netflix in my bedroom. Looks like there is alot more that you can do. Just haven't had the time to explore. Planning to get rid of cable in the near future b/c it is so expensive. Really like the ability to plug headphones in so I can watch tv and not keep my kiddo awake and/or watch stuff that I don't want him to hear.

We bought this about a month ago to supplement our PS3 streaming capabilities, but have since swapped out devices and use the Roku almost exclusively. Everything runs smoother on the Roku than on our PS3, and the interface is much easier to use. Not to mention the choices. Wow. There are so many to choose from and in such a small package. We truly love our Roku 3 and don't miss DirecTv at all!

After one month...

One month into our first Roku I will say that our family is very pleased with it. The device has hiccuped a few times where it needed to be unplugged and restarted but otherwise the experience has been flawless.
