I usually only read reviews but this is one I had to write. I've had it for a couple of months and have decided to cancel cable. The ease of use, incredible picture, and smooth streaming, and vast content, has rendered cable obsolete.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great little box. Works great with my Synology NAS

Very easy to set up and register. My Roku works great with a NAS media server streaming iPhoto 1080 HD content from a - Synology DS214 play. Additionally, there is lots of free net content ava. If you have an Amazon Prime membership there is a nice selection of HD content ava that is included with the membership. Great value.

What a great way to get things you want to watch without paying for 200 channels you don't watch. Added Netflix and Aereo for local channels with 20 MB DVR capabilities.

We have had it for over a month and it works great! We live in a rural area and I was worried our internet wouldn't be sufficient but it has worked perfect. I love that you can plug headphones directly into the remote. You don't have to pause if you are multi-tasking. :) Also, it's good that you can plug the internet directly into the main controller of the Roku if you do have connection problems initially. I have no problems with playing movies...very rarely does it stall and need to reconnect. Also, the movies are cheaper buying from Amazon or Netflix then our current provider..DirecTv. I recommend this and plan to purchase it for my college kids.

Our Roku3 is working perfectly. Set-up was a breeze. Dropped the $70 cable tv bill. Life is good.
