Great product, lacking parental controls

Great product, easy to use. It needs parental controls. Netflix app has excellent controls, but it would be much better if it had controls for the other apps. It limits what apps I'm willing to install on the box.

I am an avid Apple person. I love my Mac, iPads, iPods, and iPhone. I thought I was going to love my Apple TV as well. I will admit that it's a sexy piece of kit, but beyond the gloss and the logo there wasn't the flexibility or functionality that I need. The Roku was easy to set up, the stream rarely lags, there's a great channel selection, and the Plex Channel is flawless. I was skeptical about the 'streaming box' idea until I actually hooked one up. I don't see myself going back any time soon. Thank you for making a great product.

Great Speed and Features!!

I got this Roku 3 and It's fast and it doesn't freeze. I love Vevo and some other featured applications like YouTube and some exclusives. But it doesn't have a Web Browser. I hope sometime soon Roku 3 will add a good web browser.

I got the Roku 3 as a Christmas gift. Prior to this, I had used my Xbox 360 for streaming services. Of the pay-services, I currently use my Roku 3 for Netflix, Hulu Plus, HBOGo, Vudu, History, A&E, and Daily Burn. I have also been checking out the free services like Crackle and the small, specialty channels. I am extremely happy with the Roku 3. My only objection is that for some of the channels, such as Netflix, finding search is unintuitive. A lot of channels, especially the smaller ones, do not have search at all. A search button on the remote (which is otherwise one of the best designed pieces of hardware I have used) would be excellent. Though I will say the "Roku Search" in the main menu is an excellent feature that really impressed me.
The Roku 3 is an amazing device. I got it as a gift but definitely think it would be worth $50 to buy. I knocked a point off for the search issue, but it's a great device. And, I gather that the flaws in channel navigation are third party issues. The Roku's interface is excellent. Buy it.

Love your product. I have an Roku from a few years ago and love it. The newest version is great with faster loading and browsing. I recommend your product all of the time. I have even gotten some as gifts for family members. I also have a smart TV and I wish I would have just gotten another Roku instead.
