Love this product. Surpasses another product we were using that caused nothing but frustration. This is easy and efficient. Don't have to be a tech wizard to use.

All of the apps I use are there, all readily accessible through one interface. Aside from a Netflix playback speed issue that has since gone away, I have had no issues at all with the new roku.

My dad has had a Roku for a few years and every time I connected my laptop up to my 32" HDTV, I thought to myself, "I've got to get one of those". Then I started investigating the Aereo app and saw that it worked on a Roku, and I had the pieces I needed to do away with cable TV forever. I purchased the Roku 3 and had it up and running in minutes. Love it!

Have had the Roku 3 for 1 month now. Had some initial technical difficulties that were overcome with the good ole "reboot" method of the TV and the unit...been working fine since then. Took a little while to get used to this new way of tv entertainment . For the savings though this small adjustment from cable is a no-brainer.

We have had our Roku 3 for about a month and we love it. We use it for Netflix, YouTube, PBS, which all load super fast and are super great resolution.

We bought the Roku 3 for our workout room/kids' hangout spot for our upstairs television that had previously been serviced by an Xbox 360 (we have basic cable up there, but no second cable box). I had finally gotten tired of constantly having to fix the game console, and since I don't play console games anymore, the old unit pretty much served as a media player on our home network. So, that's all we were looking for.
My biggest concern before buying the Roku 3 was its ability to play files off of a media server, such as our PC. We had purchased a WD Live unit years ago and were looking into a second WD Live because of its ability to play media files off of a network. We decided against a second WD Live because of the lack of channels and went with the Roku. I'm so glad we did.
After paying a nominal fee for the unlocked Plex channel on the Roku and pairing it with Plex on the PC, all my concerns with the Roku's ability to play our PC's video files are gone. It has so far played everything I've thrown at it. Additionally, the Roku is so much faster than the WD Live in terms of starting up and speed of access. What has surprised me most of all, though, is that I might no longer need to download as many shows as I once did to my PC because of the variety of anime channels offered on Roku. In fact, there are more channels out there than I even thought existed. It's simply stunning.
The one and only reason why I can't give it a five-star rating is that my Xbox 360 did have a few (and I really mean a few) channels that the Roku does not have at this time. It's a very small complaint in the grand scheme of things, but I did view those channels fairly frequently. However, I do feel better that I no longer have to pay a fee to Microsoft just to get full access to all the various channels. That said, I still can't give it five stars.
