Best Christmas present!

We received the Roku on Christmas Day and have probably used it everyday since. We love it so much, we ordered another cord to plug it into another TV in another room so that we didn't have to unplug the cords behind the TV's. Enjoying our Rodu!

Really a neat idea

My daughter gave this to me for my birthday. I didn't have cable in the room I watch tv in. Now with the Roku I can watch so many tv shows , movies, series etc. The only problem with it is that I don't get as much done around the house because I always want to watch a show or check out other features it has. You can't go wrong with a Roku. It is so small you don't even know it is there and the remote doesn't even have to be pointed at it to work. I haven't played any games on it but I am looking forward to it. Very happy and will buy more in the future for family members.

Excellent product but it need to have capability to stream all video from computer to TV like YOUTUBE or CHROMECAST.

I received this as a present from my husband after I had spent many, many months complaining about netflix always cutting of or buffering in the middle of a show and that it took forever to get back on track, sometimes close to an hour. With the Roku, there is none of that, the quality of the pictures seems to be so much better, more vibrant. It is a super little thing, I have it set somewhat hidden behind a picture and you do not notice it. AND - I was able to hook it up myself,very easily :^)

I purchased this because I was tired of connecting my computer to the TV. This device works great and simple to use. Found that we now watch more streaming video. Thinking of canceling cable.

Better than cable!

We cut the cable cord, bought 2 Rokus and now enjoy seeing exactly what we want to see at a fraction of the cost - $8 for Netflix and $8 for HuluPlus instead of $100 per month for lots of cable with little interesting content. Just two month's savings pays for the Roku devices. We're going to get a third. Added a $40 internal antenna from Radioshack for local channels and we're happy with our TV options.

Cut the cord!

I've had the Roku for a month and pretty happy with it. I also got a Roku 2 for another (non-HD) TV in my house. Both have a great picture and are simple to use. The only issue I've come across is the sound sometimes isn't synced with the video, it's a new TV and I have high speed internet, but I can't say if it's a problem with the Roku or Netflix. My one wish is that the search function could search more channels.
