Not a fanboy of any technology. I use what works best for my situation. Been using the Apple TV for the last few years works great. Thought I'd give Roku a whirl. Right now Roku has more choice of content so its where I'll stay. Kinda missing the Apple itunes movie previews. My Macs and PCs work great with the Roku. Simple setup and powerful capabilities. Love the nice touch they did on the Valentine's day screen.

The little box is a box of adventure with the tv. After Skyangel discontinued it service had to have over last 6 years liked internet tv. I saw on couple of christian webpage one way to see there tv channel was roku. Order it like it & the free channels that I am getting.

Bought my Roku 3 in January, 2014 and it came with YouTube access installed. I've been quite astonished at the programs included. With my NetFlix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime, I've cancelled cable and only use my antennae to get the local news stations. Not missing cable at ALL!

This is a good product. It does not have everything one wants yet, but it is getting there. Also, I should be able to sign up for all my subscriptions

Great for public streaming services, awful for streaming personal content from my NAS. Have you heard of DLNA? Most of the world supports it. Tried their over complicated Roksbox but never got it working and it looks like I would have to reorganize all my content....give me a break

I got it for Christmas and it's excellent! It's so user friendly, and fairly easy to set up. I have a refurbished one and its great, but it took a minute longer to set it up, still worth the savings though for sure! The channel availability is great and any complaints I have about the channels are to be reserved for those companies. But why can't there be a price per month for just Showtime or HBO? It's reasons like that why I am shifting away from a TV service and towards the Roku

no more expensive dish network

I bought this for myself after deciding to get rid of dish network. The initial investment is less than a month of dish network...it issuer friendly.....great for the grandkids and love the choice available...am using Amazon prime and netflex
