Better than cable--NO ADS

I live in an area that is nicely tucked in by a small mountain range and tall trees so one has to have cable or nothing. I'm adverse to constant advertising and with Roku I can watch PBS and Smithsonian, and Netflix, etc. and pay only for channels I choose and avoid obnoxious advertising.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thanks to Roku, I've downgraded my DIRECTV. I don't need all those movie channels, that I don't watch, anymore

I have been wanting a Roku for a while for my bedroom tv, which was not hooked up to cable. The Roku has such a broad selection of channels to choose from, and the ease of navigating through all of them is great. I love the headphone feature on the remote control....fantastic so I don't disturb my roommate when I'm watching tv!

Excellent selection of channels. Easy to use. Only negative is lack of keyboard, but that is understandable.

Great technology. I am so pleased I purchased it. Well built. Dependable. Excellent choice of channels. Already had Amazon Prime and Netflix. Roku enhanced my experience with both.

We bought one for our kids and they loved it so finally we decided to buy one for ourselves & we're so glad we did. Set-up was a breeze, so easy to use, so many choices! We love it! No more cable for us!

It's so easy!

I love my ROKU. It came within a few days of ordering it via the internet. Within an hour I had paired it with our wireless router and the TV. Then I ordered NETFLIX over the internet and immediately began streaming. I would not consider myself computer savvy. This is quick and easy for anyone. I would get rid of DISH after this. If I can figure out a way to stream live ESPAN, my husband might consider getting rid of DISH. We pay a lot for channels/packages we have no interest in with DISH. ROKU allows you to choose what you wish to pay for or not pay for.
