After growing up with cable all my life, you know i want my MTV....i will never go back love my roku 3 so much....love being able to watch tv when i want to watch it. yes i was like this cant meet my needs....YES it can....buy a roku 3 and never look back

remote control needs work

The remote control needs a full keyboard on it. It's a real pain to use a single button to select one letter at a time. I post this in hopes my feature request is heard and will be in a future release. I'd even buy that remote separately.

We designed our remote control for simplicity. If you'd like a full keyboard, please consider using our mobile app on your smartphone or tablet. It acts as another remote control, and you can use your device's keyboard to search. The app is available free for iOS or Android, so no additional purchase required.

We love it it has free sites we can use and we love being able to  watch movies in the comfort of our bedroom plus it can be used with head phones how wonderful

I bought this about a month ago and love it.  It was between the Roku3 and AppleTV.  We are avid Apple fans in our house but decided to take a chance.  Glad I did!!!  We will purchase an AppleTV sometime in the near future but in the meantime, this device is great!!

Occasional audio compatibility problems with Vizio

Works well most of the time. Fairly often there is an audio compatibility problem with my Vizio E-Series E-701i-A3. When first starting to watch a program either through Netflix or Amazon, often times the audio is completely garbled and unintelligible.
About 80% of the time, the problem can be fixed easily by simply "rewinding" the program a frame or two. Occasionally about 20% of the time, this does not fix the problem and I must power Off and On again my TV (rebooting Roku has no effect). It must be some sort of compatibility issue between the Roku and the Vizio, because this problem does not occur with my older Logitech Revue (Google TV). I tried changing all of the audio settings (e.g. turning off/on Dolby, Surround, etc..) but nothing seems to avoid the issue. 
Other than that it works fairly well, although often times the video gets blurry (especially Netflix) and then clear again. I check my connection speed, and even over wifi I have about 18Mbps down, so throughput is not  the issue.
I would recommend this to a friend!
