Better than I thought

We bought the Roku 3 so we can get rid of cable television! I love being free from Comcast! At first it was a little hard to get used to, but in no time we have grown love it! I got netflix. We are loving that we can watch complete series from cable that we didn't want to pay for. We are loving Breaking Bad, and all the movies on Netflix!

I'm not the world's most tech savvy person but this is a terrific device! When you can't afford to have TV like Comcast or Directv, this is a great option to use with your wireless internet setup. So simple and yet provides hours and hours of entertainment. Thank you, Roku!

Excellent player!

I love this player and all the apps that come with it. I love the ability to have a headphone jack on the remote which saves from using wireless headsets and long cables. The two beefs I have with any streaming player is that most do not have the ability to stream to a second smart TV using wi-fi. The other is the ability to play subtitles on all movies that offer subtitles for non-english speaking movies. Many times I have to go to my computer browser which doesn't always do HD when it is available in Netflix (they are aware of that at Netflix),and I do not always want to have my computer on to watch movies. Future support for 4k movies when this becomes more mainstream would be nice

Instead of investing in a monthly digital box through my cable provider I decided to invest in the Roku 3 and it's been the best device I could of invested in, not only do I get my cable channels, I get so much more with the free apps that I didn't realize I would be watching. Also, I like the fact it's all in one area and I don't have to scroll through my TV.

We consistently have trouble with Roku connecting with Netflix. There is nothing wrong with our internet connection, it is Roku. Very annoying.
