Streaming with Roku is so much better than streaming to our TVs or DVD players. What used to be choppy is now smooth. What used to be pixaled is now clear and crisp.

Great for movies. Able to watch tv series from from previous years that was unable to watch in the past. All with no comercials.

Makes Amazon Prime movies Easy/Fast

Bought this about 1 month ago to get better use of my Amazon Prime. Absolutely love it, makes viewing so easy and has lots of apps I have yet to learn about. Only drawback lots of internet steps to set up originally.

Truly a great device

I purchased my Roku approximately 2 months ago and have found it to be one of my best electronic device purchases. This device not only supplies us with movie entertainment, but you can connect to Face book and display your stored photos and videos on your big-screen TV, not to mention the vast amount of videos from YouTube and much more.
Simply put I'm very satisfied with Roku.

I bought this a month ago and love it. It was so easy to use. I tried the other one and was so disappointed, I had a lot of problems with it and never did get to use it.

Don't Know Why I Waited This Long!

Have known about streaming for awhile, and have been increasingly frustrated by the outrageous monthly cost of CATV, given how limited the media is. My son has long recommended just hooking the TV up to a PC or laptop, but I didn't want the hassle of moving equipment around and I worried that wireless quality would be sketchy. Heard good things about Apple TV, but I'm not an Apple person. When my gf bought a NeoTV and I saw how easy it was to hook up and operate, I did some research and decided to try the Roku.
Haven't regretted it for a second. Don't miss cable at all -- guess this is one of those times I'm fortunate to not be a huge sports fan, because that seems to be the only thing that prevents anyone from making the switch from CATV or satellite. Set-up was easy, and quality is terrific, even with my low-power WiFi set-up.
If you're tired of those, sick of paying outrageous monthly subscription fees and still finding that you don't have anything to watch except reruns, go for it. Make the switch. You won't regret it!
