I bought it about a month ago after my neighbor told me he had one. Very easy to hook up I'm very happy with it. I'm glad that I had purchased it. Also getting assistance in chat was quick and very healthful with Koku technician.

Hi, my name is Todd I'm a cord cutter and it's been 8 days without cable. I'm still an addict. So far so good. It is easy to operate and does a great job doing what it was bought to do. I wish it had a input for my Mohu and all would be a slice of heaven!

Better than Netgear NeoTV Max

The Roku3 is a great improvement over the Netgear NeoTV Max, with one exception: I don't like the fact that the Roku3 lacks an on/off switch. I don't understand why the owners manual recommends leaving the unit plugged in when not in use, for in addition to wasting electrical power, the constant heating of the unit cannot be beneficial to its useful life.

Love the Roku 3, however . . .

Upgraded from my Roku 2 and loved the changes and the headphones - so we bought another to replace our PS3 on our other TV. But . . . we are having so many problems with the batteries running low in the remote. We don't play games on the Roku or sit and watch TV for hours with the ear plugs on. We got some help from the Roku Tech's and hopefully this second suggestion will help. Batteries are expensive so if it doesn't work we'll have to unplug :-(

Very fast responding,very good channels , it needs more free movie channels with subtitles but you can find everything in youtube channel.

Easy and adds value

We definitely like having the Roku box in our home. It was very easy to install and is user-friendly. Keep in mind my 4-year-old can navigate it to find his channels and play games and whatnot! There is a decent selection of channels, but many channels require an extra subscription. While this is somewhat disappointing, I guess you cannot expect too much from something so reasonably priced. It would be super cool if we could select individual channels (i.e. nickelodeon junior, AMC) to subscribe to so I could finally drop my cable TV once and for all. Also, I think I would prefer to have an option to automatically alphabetize the channels I do select. :)

Music, documentaries, old films, Netflix, anime...there's just an enormous amount of material to explore and enjoy. The setup is ridiculously easy, and, since upgrading my internet connection, there have been no major network problems.

What is wrong with the remote?

I have replaced my Roku 3 two times.. each time, the remote would no longer sync! I gave up and just live with it as I can't return the unit any longer. I will never buy another Roku 3 again until they resolve the remote issues. What's the point of having the ear buds and the Angry Birds game if you can't use the remote. I dislike having to look for my phone or tablet to change channels. I'm really irritated that I paid more for this 3 than my other 2, and the other 2 work great! My roku 2 and roku 1 that I have in other rooms works better than this one!
