The whole family loves it, cut off the satellite and cable, still have more tv to watch that we all enjoy. Easy to use, my 5.5 year old can navigate it and pick shows just for her. Outstanding!

I have owned the Roku 3 for a little over a month now and am extremely happy. Navigating is fast and fairly easy. Image quality is outstanding with my 12mb bandwidth. There is many major apps, and several pleasant surprises with some little known apps. A large amount of good content for free from the major apps without having to buy subscriptions. I only gave 4 out of 5 because the media streamer is weak, and I can see room for improvement in organization the channel menu, and navigation within some of the channels. But I would not hesitate to purchase this sweet device again!

Great idea and it works but

The roku works well but there are a few setbacks. All those free stations they talk abou? Yeah nothing worth anything there. Sure i can use hulu and netflixs but i can use that on anything. And the interface? It's the worst. So bad I can't even stand to see it. Seriously guys, it's bad.

I ditched cable/Sat. years ago a bought this to add a few more channels. I pretty much use if only for Netflix and Hulu. Great if you have subscriptions with providers but some of the Roku channels I was hoping for you have to be a cable subscriber to get them. A little disappointing. My great hope is to be able to subscribe to any channel Roku has.....and get NFL Sunday ticket, then I will give a 5 star.

Best Streaming Player Out There

This is by far the best streaming media player around. It easily beats Apples. When I was purchasing this, it came down to Google's Chromecast and the Roku 3. For the amount of features, channels and apps, you can't beat the Roku. Also, it is so small and light (not light enough to fall off a table) that you can move it around room to room very easily. Set up was simple just type in your wi-fi password and you are good to go. I would definitely recommend this to anyone, even if you have cable, it makes a great addition to any home entertainment set-up.

We were given our Roku 3 as a Christmas gift. I love it! With my crazy work schedule I am not home to watch the tv shows I like. With my Roku, I have much more flexibility. Use it everyday. It's great!
The only thing I don't like about it is the remote control. I love the earphone feature, but it drains the batteries! Can't afford to keep buying them! So, I have downloaded the app onto my cell phone. It's great!

This is the perfect product for cord-cutters. We can stream our favorite content, especially Netflix and on-demand movies, without having a cable or satellite subscription. The interface is easy to use, the channel lineup is great, the apps get regular updates, and the omnisearch feature is fantastic for locating content across several channels at once.
