Great Array of Selections

Love the device. Only drawbacks are: Most channels require a paid subscription for essentially the same content of the other stations. Also hate the search and password entry methods. An on-screen qwerty keyboard would be a vast improvement.

I replaced my Chromecast with the Roku 3

Can't say enough good things about the Roku3. Easy to use, never has dropped a connection.
I bought one on a Friday for the Living Room. Absolutely fell in love with it, so I went back to the store on Saturday and bought another one for the TV in the Bedroom. I'm using the PLEX App on the Roku 3 and the Plex Media Server on my PC to watch all the Movies and TV Shows that I have collected.
The two Roku 3's I bought have replaced the two Chromecasts that I already owned. The Chromecasts have been relegated to TV's in the kitchen and office.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Got Amazon Prime?

If you have an Amazon Prime account, you already have access to tons of free programming. Add Netflix for 8 dollars a month, and you have a heck of an entertainment bargain.

Great product

Been using it for 6 weeks now, seems like a good product to get most of the shows and movies that want through one easy to use interface. It is organized well but could use better search options and more sub folders.

Better than Advertised

I did some homework and hands down this was the direction to go. I thought it would be OK, I had no idea how good it really was. It is super fast streaming. I plugged directly in to my internet with an Ethernet cable for best results, and it truly is quick and incredible. The only thing I hope they add in the near future is an internet browser.
