The Roku 3 was actually a gift from my son in law. He saw how frustrated I had become with my cable company. I had all the movie channels and some extra sports channels, but it was a waste of time and money. Using the Roku 3 gives me the control and variety that I truly wanted to have for my home entertainment at a fraction of the price. Excellent idea. Hope they keep adding more channels. The Roku 3 is even better and more versatile than most "SMART TVs".

Big mistake

Bought a Roku 3 to fix Netflix connection issues with a Philips Blu-ray player that was purchased to fix problems with an early Vizio Blu-ray player. The Roku worked with Netflix for a few days. Now has connection issues. Better to get a laptop with an HDMI output.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Really knew nothing about these kind of devices, but I seen an ad for the Roku 3 so I check it out and realized it was what I wanted. So I checked the rating for the Roku and found that for what I wanted the Roku 3 was the best. It was easy to install and up in running in a short period of time. It is a great device.

I bought this devise so I could take advantage of the streaming available with Amazon Prime. It was so easy to install and operate. I'm kind of getting gadget overload, but this is hasn't given me a moment's grief. Great product.

I received this product as a Christmas present. It was easy to setup and works as advertised. New buyers or users should realize that for this product to be useful you have to have a separate agreement with the content provider. Buying a Roku does not get you access to NetFlix or any other pay for content service. The product is just an inexpensive way to access your internet services that you pay for and see them on your TV.
