Efficient use of keys on remote

The remote simple functionality is great.
The earplugs, no need of direct signal, and the small size of the streamer are great as well.
I wish they put general text button (like .com, .yahoo, .gmail, www.) in the on_tv keyboard to ease punching!

I can't say enough amazing things about the Roku! It has something for everyone to watch. Also, the ear buds are great for that late night binge watching. :) Super easy to set up doesn't take up any space at all.. a true gem! Love it!!!

Incredible Speed and Quality

This was a gift from my most tech savvy friend for Christmas. I have had a similar device in the past but stopped using it because of issues on playback and quality. This device is so incredibly fast moving between apps and loading videos its awesome. The quality is outstanding HDMI 1080, and I have had no issues with streaming everything from kids shows to sporting events. I have been recommending this device to all my friends and family.

We love the Roku 3. Its streams quickly, seamlessly and easily. Our only complaint is that you cannot turn off the unit, but they say you simply do not need too.

Easy to use, very fast

Prior to me purchasing the Roku 3, I watched Netflix or Amazon streaming via a Sony Blu-ray player. It was okay. The difference, however was how fast the Roku 3 loads. A main feature that I like is adding subtitles to a movie. Other minor feature is searching for a movie that's available on different sites. If there is a negative, I would say that there is no on/off switch. I have a Denon 4308 receiver and that prevent me from using different source components on different inputs, like HDMI, components, composite, etc. Other than that I have no complaints. I might buy another one for a second TV.

Lots of Apps!

Hi, I purchased the Roku last month. There's lots of interesting and different apps on there, but i wish there were more free games or even paid games that I would be interested in. I wish there were more movie/show choices that aren't old classics! I've been using the Roku more for netflix lately, I have tried out other apps that were interesting to learn about things or that have home remedies and so on; which you can probably find online. I do have cable and find it's different than the cable! On tv I usually just watch the new seasons of my favorite shows on now and sometimes still record movies on our PVR. My nephew seemed to really like a couple games on there but the only free one is angry birds space the others are just demos :( I wish the Roku also came with it's own HDMI cable, because I had to purchase one seperate! I'm not sure how long I'm going to keep this yet; I'll see.
