I love my ROKU 3

I was streaming Netflix with a Sony BlueRay player and I was experiencing long delays that often doubled the viewing time. It was so frustrating. I went on line and read reviews and over and over I found people advising the acquisition of a Roku if you intended to stream. I bought the Roku and I love the ease and the speed of the downloads. Now I never have the movie pause unless I order it to do so. Now I recommend the Roku to all my friends. I gave Roku 5 stars.

Roku3 Opens Up a Bigger World of Television

My wife and I are really happy with our Roku3. We have a lot more available at our fingertips than our previous method of viewing Internet programming via our Blueray DvD player. Additionally, our Netflix runs a lot smoother... A lot of greatness out of such a small box! Additional "pro's"... setup was a piece of cake.

Easy to use and a lot of channels

The Roku was purchased to use Slingbox and view my cable at a summer home. It also lets me access my cable company OnDemand channels without a second cable box. Great product.

Brings little pictures to my big screen!

So far, only one problem has cropped up, the Roku3 has killed one of my HDMI inputs on my Denon AVR. At 5pm I had audio and video from Roku on that input and when I turned it on again at 7pm I had video only. None of my devices can pass audio on that HDMI input now, it is effectively dead. I moved it to another HDMI input and all is well for now. We shall see, as I am not the first to have this problem according to Roku Forum. Hoping for the best.

Great Product for a Great Price

I love the product; it's a great streaming device for our multiple accounts. The one thing that would've been great is if the media playback from the USB came standard on the device instead of having to download the Roku App to play media files on the USB. Other than that, it's been great; even my 4 year old knows how to use it for children's shows and Angry Birds. Definitely worth the $99 if you subscribe to other services. We use this in our bedroom where we have an HDTV but it's not a smart TV. 
The Wi-Fi connection is great. We get a good connection in our bedroom where many other wi-fi devices have an unstable connection. I cannot say enough good things about this product.

This is the one to get

If you're deciding which streaming box to get, the Roku 3 is the way to go. Unfortunately, I found this out the hard way after trying another and being pretty disappointed - I exchanged it for the Roku after two weeks and never looked back. The Roku has way more content, a superior interface, more functional remote, and maintains a rock solid connection to my wi-fi (which is more than I can say for the other box).  The Roku is definitely the streaming box to get....for Roku, this is more than just a hobby.

Also, when you are picking channels to save as favorites, you are given a bit of background on the channel.  however, once you save it, there is no more background and over time, i find i forget what the channel is about.   
all is is great!

Great for our family

This has a lot of options for channels, some of which you need to go online to sign up for.  We use mainly for Netflix and Vudu, and the HD quality is great.  One gripe is that the box transmits its own wireless signal, which I need to figure out how to turn off, as it interferes with our regular wireless network signal.  I also needed to contact support right off the bat because the remote was not connecting to the player.
