My son said he had Netflix and would i like it in the main room.I said yes but could not get the Router and so he bought Roku.I love the set up,being Winter and my being retired i enjoy using it.

Ease of operation

Had the first generation Roku and liked it. Now have the Roku 3 and love it. Faster streaming and easy operation.

I am happy with it. My only disappointment was that I am a twc subscriber and am not able to view any programming because I don't use their internet. This should not be an issue.

we bought the Roku 3 due to a growing hearing disability. What we found was this, the picture takes several minutes (approx. 5-10) to clear itself, meaning it loads blurry. Therefore you miss some of the detail if the movie starts out with a High Impact beginning...like a James Bond, Transformers, Nikita, etc. We never experienced this with our Roku 1 or 2 models.

Great streaming content

My wife and I decided to examine our expenses, and decide where we could make some educated reductions. We first switched auto insurance companies and saved. Then targeted cutting our cable bill. I did extensive research and found that the Roku 3 served our purpose almost perfectly. While we love all of the great content available, and the kids have tons of stuff to watch.....There are a couple of channels we miss. The first is the Disney channels....we are able the get some of the Disney content through youtube and some stuff on Netflix, but most of the Disney programming is not available without a cable package. (which is disappointing, and we're really hoping Disney offers subscription service at some point)....The other Channel that I miss is NESN, mainly for Bruins and Red Sox, but at least I'll be able to get the playoffs on network TV. Overall we are very satisfied with our choice to purchase the Roku3......and I plan to purchase another Roku for a second TV, and possibly a 3rd

Received our Roku as a gift one month ago and so pleased with how easy it was to set up and use. One month later and we continue to be surprised with how versatile and family friendly this product is! It is one product whereby its usefulness really spans the generations. Love, love, love the versatility!!!!!
