This unit is fabulous!!! I was having problems with Netflix loosing signal and staying in a scrolling mode...........I r/r my old media player and put in Roku......great!!

Elegant and Intuitive

The good reviews in Wired and CNet are right.  This is a great product. I had it set up in minutes. The small footprint and sleek design makes it as good on the outside as on the inside.   The audio jack in the remote is a fantastic idea though a bit lacking in sound quality. (Though to be fair I was using the supplied earbuds and haven't jacked in a quality set.)
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Roku 3 is great. I've had very few replicable issues since buying it. We've banished cable from our home, and I am somewhat disappointed with how our content options have changed. Using the remote to input search data is tedious. I haven't found a way to move the cursor within the text field besides using 'space' and 'delete'. This is a major inconvenience if you've misspelled something earlier in the string and now have to delete all the text after the mistake to fix it.
BUT - I'm happier with Roku and the adjustment than I was shelling out dough to the cable company.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Big performance ina little box

Have been using this device for a month now and have completely cut the cord with the cable company. Utilizing Aereo & Hulu am able to watch all shows of interest and save well over $600 annually!
Lots of pluses. Only negative I've found so far is that it doesn't support .avi files.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Friends recommended this tp me and i am glad i bought it. Everything works extremely fast ob it. I have had connection problems on other players but never have had a problem with this.

A good addition to networks

We bought this three weeks ago and had it attached to our new TV in Mexico. We are expats that live here during the winter months. The local Telecable is not the greatest and mostly Spanish, so we wanted more English speaking channels to choose from. The "LiveTV" channel is what we wanted most. It works pretty well, but it reloads a lot. This is annoying and we miss some of the shows we are watching. We have been told that the host (Harrisburg, PA) is only one we can connect to at this time. I am bringing it back to the States this spring to see how well it works there.
