Best brand

I had already purchased another brand and never did get it to work! As I was reading through help pages to figure out how to make it work, I kept seeing "Get a Roku - Roku's the best, etc." I decided I'd spent enough time on the other one so I just ordered a Roku. Ten minutes after taking it out of the box it was working! I will definitely recommend a Roku to anyone needing this kind of equipment!

A battery eater

The remote goes through AA batteries like crazy. Batteries last one or two nights max. It is so annoying, since if you use ear pieces the sound goes dead and then you can't stop the program until you replace the batteries. Otherwise I'm enjoying the selection and quality of the picture.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great piece ... directions were clear and accurate for setup. Device is small, dark and unobtrusive. Works great, too!!

Received a TV along with a Roku 3 for Christmas. There are plenty of apps with a good selection of movies and shows. I wish there were channels (apps) that had live streaming tv, but I'll live.

What a great surprise. My Roku gives me news, entertainment, and commentary without the cost and c.lutter of cable TV. The signal quality is so much better than I expected. What a great device.

Great little box!

So happy with my Roku! Super easy to setup with my Sharp Aquos TV, easy to use and I'm saving approx $70 on my current cable bill. Streaming is seamless and the selections are greater than I had with my cable provider. Wished I had done this earlier! Love, love, love!

The unit is attractive and very easy to set up for access to CDN programming. It took a bit longer to achieve the US programming we wanted. We love the headphones feature on it. We haven't explored other channels much as we usually use it for subscriptions with Netflix and Hulu Plus. Satellite service has now been cancelled in favor of this. Only things I'll miss is tuning into the news. Our three kids love it too, two of which are teenagers.
