I bought the Roku 3 player to watch Indian & Hindi channels. It works great . Also supports loads of free English channels.

We've owned our Roku 3 for about a month and have used it most every evening. It was easy to set up and even easier to use.

Smooth Streaming

I haven't used any of Roku's previous models, but the Roku 3 seems to do everything that it claims and does it well (smooth streaming, easy to navigate menus, etc.). The only thing that I can complain about is the remote's "slippery" handling, because you cannot really hold it securely enough in one hand while using your thumb to press some buttons. The other thing is that many of the so-called "free" channels are not really free.

thought there would be a lot more content for free , too many subscriptions to buy …. I' find the marketing misleading

I've had my Roku for about a month. It's very easy to setup and works remarkably well. Finding something to watch on Roku is quite different than browsing through the on-screen cable tv guide, but there is a lot of content available and you have to persist at figuring out how to find it and watch it.
I would recommend this to a friend!
