Netflix freezes

The whole reason for buying this device was to replace my Wii which was acting as a malfunctioning Netflix player. Access to Netflix SuperHD was also a bonus. It was great at first, but now Netflix freezes almost every day to a couple times a day while trying to browse for content with up and down navigation (D-PAD). Also there is no off or restart bottom or option that I can find, so when it messes up and I hit the HOME button I still cant reboot system, I have to pull the power cable. If the Netflix app did not freeze, I would have given this 5star. It is also a let down because I purchased the Roku 3 due to the faster processor in hopes of avoiding the device from freezing which did not going according to plan!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For Netflix and Amazon Prime Video, it's phenomenal. Icing on the cake: Spotify with the headphones plugged into the remote. It's just a really well thought-out device with features no one else has.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This was our second Roku, purchased to replace our first one, which didn't support closed captioning as much as we wanted. The new one seems to be capable of displaying closed captions on any show we have tried.
I have handed my old Roku down to my sister, along with a glowing recommendation. I would not be without mine - we use it every day.
