Outstanding Performance

We purchased the ROKU 3 about a month ago after attempting to use "a plug -in stick manufactured for a popular web browser". Needless to say "you truly get what you pay for". That stick was cheap, but it had dismal performance. Glad to say the ROKU 3 is simply outstanding value for TV internet streaming. The ROKU engineers got this one right. It was ultra easy to set-up and the performance since has been outstanding from the moment we were running.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very fast

I love how fast it is now but I have a few issues
One being with the plex program I stream from my computer and it works well but I moved the hard drive off of that computer and put it on another and now I have the new icon and old one on the roku and not yet figured how to remove the old one without doing a factory restore
Second the battery life in the remote is very short when you play games of use the ear phones.
Third the video freeze sometimes and I have to pull the power to reset it.
Lastly I can't review it anymore till I get a new remote because it quit working .

Good Start... Room for Growth!

The Roku 3 is an amazing little device that delivers extensive multimedia content (Granted, far MORE content in the USA than here in Canada!) in a minimalist package that just "works right out of the box". That said, it DOES have room for growth and development! What about adding shopping channels for eBay, Amazon and other major online retailers? Think of online shopping from the big screen with far more interesting items than shown on The Shopping Channel! What about adding channels for the movie and television sharing sites that people actually USE, like Vodly, SolarMovie and others? It is time for the good folks at Roku to start thinking "outside the box"!

At first I saw what it runs and said no way that;s to much and then I got it with the 90 money back and I bought it and love it I will never take it back in unless I need a new one because I run the life out of it.

overall a very good product for what it tries to do.
especially for netflix fans, roku3 can offer a much better experience than bluray players that have the netflix option.. roku can get a much better image quality.

I really like the HD display and the large amount of channels that are available. I use the headphone jack on the remote about 90% of the time. It is a great feature and very handy in the bedroom when you don't want to disturb someone else. Easy setup and easy to use for a non-tekkie like me.

We've had our Roko3 for about 2 months. I love the search feature that checks for movies, tv, etc... from the home page. No need to go into each channel or app to search. Roko does it for you. The picture seems to be clearer and load times much faster than when I was using a blu-ray player for my streaming. Oh, and TONS of channels to add or just go to. Exercise, cooking, tv, moldy-oldies, more than you could ever watch is available with this device. I also like that you can link your facebook, amazon and other accounts to Roko.
