Love the Roku!

5 Stars. Could be a little faster starting itself, but no deduction for this. Made my "dumb" smart TV (older version without all the needed software) a useful tool again.

I purchased a Roku 3 about 6 weeks ago. I like most features and channels. We are currently traveling and staying at different resorts. Most resorts require you to either log in or accept an internet agreement. The Roku does not allow you to access the internet in these situations. I would also like to see more channels like Max GO, Showtime Anytime, Starz Play, etc..

The number of "channels" and the quick responses and ease of use are awesome. I love the headphones on the remote; however, the remote runs through batteries like crazy. I am on my 3rd or 4th set of batteries and I have had it for less than 2 months. I also had some network connectivity issues when I first set it up. Google helped but it would have been nice for it to work out of the box.

A few issues but still strong

I like the redesigned display and overall ease of use. I had a problem adding channels to the Roku 3 - when I added new channels, they were added to my other Roku 2, but not to the Roku 3. The problem couldn't be resolved (diagnosis: defective hardware) and I had to return it. Also disappointed that HBO GO is not available to Comcast Xfinity customers, but I guess that is not Roku's fault. I can still recommend this product in spite of these issues.

Dissapointed in purchasing the Roku 3

I purchased the Roku 3 to get rid of my Comcast cable. I was first please with all the app that was included but was disappointed I could not access them unless I purchased them. The only free app showed movies from the 1980.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the Roku,I previously had a samsung smart dvd player that constsantly was losing signal.This is why I bought Roku.It has great reception and numerous channels.Would definately recommend it.
