I also have a Windows Media Player, but i wanted to give this a try. This was because I wanted a device that was easy to use. Remember the days when you turned on the TV and you browsed through 50 channels that you watched?
Roku is pretty good. My family really doesnt watch much TV anymore. My son plays games or watches Youtube, my wife and I reallyare doing our own thing on the Internet also. I really use it for watching the news while I cook dinner. I like Wall Street TV; it's better than mainstream media TV.

So Easy to Set Up and Use!

Have had a Roku for about a month now and love it! So much easier to use than my Samsung Blu Ray. Love the user friendly remote and all of the channels available. So many free channels as well as subscription ones. Picture quality is great. Love the search option for any actor, TV show or movie that lets you enter the name and Roku searches all the channels that have a match.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Replaced my Satellite TV and I'm not going back!

DirecTV had become over $100 per month and the programming had just gotten rediculously poor (reality this and that). So we pulled the plug and ordered a Roku and have been very satisfied so far. We still pay for a few TV shows here and there, but at least it is what we want vs. what they shovel at you on DirecTV. If you have an Amazon Prime subscription, you get to have lots of shows without paying more. The TechSmart channel has proven to be quite useful. I'm sure we will find more as time goes on. I gave a Roku 3 to my sister's family and they say they love it too. They move it from TV to TV as the need requires.

Had the Roku for about a month and it does exactly as advertise. We are getting ready to cut the cord (drop cable TV) so bought this is preparation. It everything I expected and the Roku 3 if fast and fairly high resolution streaming. I pleased with my purchase. Thanks.

This is the perfect unit for the "Cord Cutter". We are able to watch every show we previously watched on FIOS and has saved us $80 per month on our cable bill (or should I say...What cable bill?!) We have two tvs and each has the Roku3 and we couldn't be happier. The unit is small and easy to hide but packs a very fast processor that streams our content without any lag. We upgraded our internet speed to be on the safe side since we no longer have cable. Even with the upgrade we are +$80 a month. Excellent device.

Met all my expectations!

Purchased to permit my wife to watch movies that she wanted to see while being house bound due to illness. We found it easy to use and really liked the feature that allows you to easily pause the movie and then continue watching from the point when you return.
