Love my Roku!!!!

I bought a Roku as my son recommended. My husband liked it so much we bought another one for the television in his office/work area.

I bought the Roku 3 about a month ago. I don't usually take the time to write reviews but this little device is pretty amazing. I was using my DVD player to stream Netflix and I was always running into issues with connection speed and when I did get connected it would sometimes throw me out and I would have trouble reconnecting. I knew about this product and decided to read some reviews before making a purchase. The reviews convinced me that I should give it a try. The connection is super fast and consistent. The HD picture is very clear and the choice of programs are more than I need. I mainly use it for streaming movies. My connection problems are over and I am extremely satisfied with this product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great for streaming but not for USB player

I love the roku3 for streaming purposes but I've had nothing but problems when it comes to playing movies off of my hard drive.  I hope this problem will fixed with a simple upgrade soon... Also I had 2 power outages in my home due to my energy provider and once I restarted my roku all my channels needed to be logged into again and I also had to reorganize my channels list. This was kind of a pain in the butt but I still love my roku. The streaming is excellent and the selection is awesome.

Super Fast & Easy to Use!

Received the Roku 3 for Christmas and couldn't be happier with it! It is so much faster than my wi-fi blu-Ray play, and offers so many more channel choices.  I wish it offered the option of other premium movie networks, but hopefully that will come.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We are extremely pleased with Roku purchase. It offers an abundance of features, quick steaming, and ease of use. The only down draw, which we cannot understand why they haven't addressed, is the lack of light on the remote. This is truly a downfall and could very easily be corrected...wonder why not??

I was tired of paying for cable and never having anything to watch. In fact I spent most of my time watching Amazon. I decided to cancel my cable subscription and continue with the Roku player. There are so many channels that I don't miss anything but the local news, which I can pick up over the air. I'm in control of what I watch and when I watch it, so if I'm not home from work in time to catch the national news, I can always stream it. The Roku is easier to navigate than my TV apps, so I very rarely use the TV controls any more. And with so many available channels and specialty channels, there is very little that I miss. I do not regret buying the Roku in the least. The cable company, I'm sure misses the money, but they certainly don't offer much in the way of flexibility like my Roku does!

Love the Roku3

I bought my parents the Roku2 and was so impressed with it, that I bought myself the Roku3. I love it, but in any relationship there is just one issue. The batteries in the remote die super fast if you use the headphones too often. If you can live with that, buy it.

Tired of streaming video onto the TV by cable connecting my iPad, I finally broke down and purchased the Roku3.  Setup was simple, worked first time and has been very simple and easy to operate.
