Good bang for the buck

Great little device. It's nice to be able to watch ESPN3/U or listen to Pandora on the tube however, we are disappointed at the amount of channels that do not work. You won't know what they are until you buy one, set it up, and then start trying to log into them. The biggest disappointment is that Showtime is just a preview channel. Like cable/satellite there are tons of channels that we'll never, ever watch or use.

Quick, easy and does everything it's suppose to!

Like the title says, this thing was a breeze to set up. Early in the day I had purchased a Google dongle. The set up on that was a pain. I had to modify my router settings for it to work it took a while to set up. Then on top of that the performance lacked. In time it might be awesome but as of right now it doesn't compare. The roku far surpassed my expectations and I'm still learning things about it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I'm very impressed with the easy interface and the speed in which the information is presented to me via the Roku3. And it's super small, so it hides nicely on the shelf. But again, it's really the speed of everything that makes it so smooth. I recommend.

I cannot tell you how pleased we are with this little box. It has such smart features, very responsive, and extremely user friendly. With the free Roku iPhone app, I can also play all my music, movies, and pictures wirelessly. The list of apps continues to grow and allows us to watch everything from hunting programs to DIY channels. We are a Roku family for life.

Intuitive interface with limited short comings

Owned for 40 days; has worked well with basic broadband service; disappointed that device has no on/off button - so many electronic devices use phantom power - energy waste! Users should not be required to give CC info in order to activate!

Huge capabilities, tiny package

This was a Christmas gift. I wanted it to replace my Xbox 360 as a media player. Since I mostly used the Xbox to watch Netflix, this was the best choice as a replacement as I didn't want the Xbox One at 6 times the cost of the Roku 3. The only limitation of the Roku is the Cable provider as to which apps are available in your area.
