Wonderful Movie Streamer

WOW!! I was a little hesitant to purchase this unit at first, I heard so much about it and was debating on cutting the cable cord and using this. So i went on and purchased it, I have to say i love it!! I have so much to choose from to watch on my own time not cable's. So I called to cancel my cable and my bill went from 100.00 a month and this is my first bill after i cut the cord and it is 21.43 Yeahhhh!! So i end up buying another one for my bedroom so i own two Roku boxes and they are both linked so I'm Very Happy with my Roku!! I'm waiting for the Roku tv to come out guess who will be buying one of those? :)) Happy Streaming...Cut those cable cords people you wont regret it!!!!

I bought my Roku 3 at Christmas and I'm very glad I did. It works great and really opens up more uses for the TV.

Great product, but...

Documentation is lacking and unintuitive to set up. Had to "hard wire" the Roku the first time to get the updates to work with the netgear wireless router. After a couple of hours to setup (plus a 50' cat6 cable to download updates) everything works well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to Use - Roku

I purchased the Roku 3 for our HD TV system at Christmas. We use it often and we subscribe to Amazon Prime and Netflix. We also use a lot of the free channels. What I like is the ease of installation and the ease of use. It has been 100% with no issues over the last month. I like that anyone in the household can use it to watch what they want. Some of the other systems become way too complex. Nice addition to watch other programs easily on our main entertainment system. We previously had to hook up our Kindle with an HDMI cable to play some of these programs -- now we're wireless and love it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

great idea and love the fact that you can go from show to show without much interruption if you are continuously watching but having to sign up for multiple services is a pain and will get just as expensive as my cable which this was suposed to help with -- also has an issue with connection either dropping or not able to connect if turned off completly without alot of retries etc.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had a Roku 3 just over a month and it has performed just as claimed. I have reduced my satellite service and saved money and now have access to more programs of my liking.
