Very easy to use and lots of content

Roku is easy to set up and use. There is a lot of content even if you are like me and don't have TV/cable.

Nice but not worth the price

Really wanted to like it but slow. Crashed a few times even after the update. And there just wasn't enough free content. So you spend $100 and then have to purchase memberships to the video channels.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Before I got my Roku 3, I was using either my Wii or my Sony Blue Ray Player to access Netflix etc. This is so much easier, and a huge amount of extra choices. This was a massive step forward.

Good for building custom channels,

Roku is great for building custom content choices from all the channels. However, the inability to provide airplay or chromecast type capabilities limit it's usefulness for me. The other downside is lack of free content. If you add up all the paid channels, you are approaching cable tv like costs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We purchased this to replace a Blu-ray player that was not performing. I haven't spent a dime on extra subscription and I still have hours of new programs to watch. I totally recommend recommend this to anyone.

Fast and easy to set up. Very fast operating system. My Wife loves the huge selection of TV shows. The HD quality is great.
