Best Streamer Out There

So far, have had the Roku about a month and so glad I ditched my cable company. With minimal advertisements, the Roku delivers excellent programming and not just on the big local net works such as ABC, CBS and NBC, but almost any where in the world! We can watch Yoga, Tai Chi, News channels from almost anywhere! Kids? Covered- This is not just a streaming media player, its a new way to bring world programming into your own home! Best feature, this thing is fast with menus and very easy to setup!

Received as a Christmas present. We like it very much except for the Picasa feature. We cannot seem to use it. It keeps giving us an error message. If we could sort that problem out we would love it.

I bought this a month ago after reading several online reviews and joined Netflix right away. Roku was easy to set-up. Though I have definitely not delved into all Roku has to offer I plan on doing so in the near future.

I am happy with this product. Only wish could get all channels cable does for free, Like nick jr for the kids but mostly can get by with what is offered

Bought this after our family finally "cut the cord" to DISH network. Our bill was almost $75 per month. Now it's only $7.99 (the price of Netflix). Can't say that our TV viewing is quite as comfortable as with a sattelite service, but it's definitely about as good as it gets (I think) for what we have now. The remote is very simple, but probably all that is really needed to access the various items available via wifi. I also bought the chromecast for one of our smaller TV's. It's a great item, but is not quite as convenient and interactive as the Roku 3. I also like that the Roku has a headphone jack. A couple of years ago, I spent some major money on some wireless headphones, so that my husband could watch his TV in the bedroom without waking me up. The Roku "headphone" option is about as close as it gets to going to wireless headphones. All in all, we are happy with the features.

Love hate relationship

When it works like its supposed to, I love all the variety it offers. Once in awhile, the sound will cut out for a minute, and the come back for a minute (and on and on). It can be beyond frustrating. I've tried every audio combo, but nothing works.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I replaced a wifi DVD player with this, and what a huge improvement. I considered the roku 2, but decided on the 3 and am glad I spent the extra money. Overall, it has very fast navigation, lots of channels, and is easy to set up and use.
