We purchased this just after Christmas. We use it all the time! It's great and now we are going to buy a couple more for the other TV's in the house!

Convenient and Simple

We got ours as a Family Christmas Present. It was very simple to set up and takes very little space physically. It is more economical because we get to choose our programming. I am still in this process however.

Stops frequently during movie

I received the ROKU 3 as a gift and it has been mostly frustrating. It stops frequently in the middle of movies. Sometimes the only thing that will get it going is to unplug it and start over from the beginning. It happens with both Netflix and Amazon so it appears to be the ROKU that is at fault. The WIFI signal strength at my laptop which is less than 10 feet away is strong. What should I do?

Does not support hbo subscribers

I have 2 different hbo accounts that I currently pay for. 1 through direct tv, and 1 through xfinity. My roku player will not recognize either of my accounts.
I do enjoyed watching Netflix and Hulu plus. But I don't understand why I can't stream hbo.

It has a lot of options and hoping as things go along, we'll get even more. I had quit watching television altogether, but with the Roku offerings, I can watch what I want, when I want. Am exploring dropping my cable tv.

Powerful unit!

This unit replaces a Sony media player that was not keeping up with broadband and constantly buffering. NOTHING worse than buffering when you are trying to watch a movie! Tech with Netflix recommended this unit and it was just what the doctor ordered! Solved the problem from day one.I have a typical 12 down 5 up broadband connection. Dynamite does come in small packages after all!

Dissapointed...

I have received Roku as Xmas gift and had trouble from the very start. At first, I could not connect to Netflix - it took couple days of trying to get it going. Now, the player seems to freeze up frequently... Not very happy with this product - thinking about returning it.

I have enjoyed Roku. My friends had it and I didn't want to pay for cable or dish. This is perfect.
