Small and Powerful

Offers a lot of different channels, some of which need a premium account to access or a membership with the channel or tv service provider. The channels that ARE free though, offer a lot of movies with some commercials. It's small and discreet. I'm eager for new channels to be added to the list like TwitchTV. Overall I like having Roku3 around, specially in the mornings when everyone is asleep, I could watch my Youtube videos with the headphones :]

Cronstructive Criticism

First off, this is a really good idea; and, we're enjoying it for the most part.
That said, I'm 66 years old so can recall using "tube" radios and their inherent need to warm up before beginning sound transmission. It's been 50 years since that experience went the way of the transistor....until now with your euphemism of "buffering" which, at least in the case of Tune In takes a good 4-5 minutes IF your system will allow initial connection at all.
Further, there have been multiple occasions where the system is totally unresponsive (no reaction to the remote at all). We have reset our Verizon modem to "performance" mode with some improvement; but overall, we'd have to give the ROKU's capability only about a C+ at this point.....
So keep working on those upgrades !

We watch whatever we want when we want. Dropped my gym membership and signed up for Daily Burn - $10.00 vs $1,000.00. We already had Nexflix and Amazon Prime so no added expense. Also a Pandora One user so no extra there either. Bye-bye cable!

Roku is easy to use and streams movies and tv shows with no buffering. Far better than the Sony blue ray that I struggled with for over a year.

I was skeptical, but this really looks great! The only thing I don't like is you cannot turn it off and it gets very warm. It should at least have a sleep mode. If I could stream Directv I would give it 4 stars.

I had the option of watching movies on my computer but hated the small screen and bad audio. My daughter and her boyfriend gave me the Roku 3 for Christmas and I can enjoy streaming movies and shows on my TV anytime. Love it and would recommend this to anyone!
