I bought my Roku box about a month ago to cut the cord with cable. My kids like it because they can watch their favorite shows without waiting for certain days/times.Overall good product.

Cute as a Bug's Ear

I'm amazed at how much power is included in such a small device. The Roku 3 has some sort of algorithm that starts streaming almost immediately. The initial picture quality is fuzzy but within a few moments the picture is amazingly crisp.
We primarily stream Netflix and PBS but we have also streamed a few movies from M-GO that are not available from Netflix.
In short, we love our Roku 3.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not worth the money

i had bought it and had it stop working within a week. The remote stopped working. Or, at least, i think it was the remote. All i know for sure is that the Roku didn't respond whenever i pressed buttons on the remote. i returned it and got a Roku 2 in it's place and had the same issue almost a month after i bought it. So, for now, until i see that Roku can improve this, i won't be buying another for a while. i was very disappointed since i had an LT a couple years ago that worked great for 6 months before i sold it to someone. If i could, i would give no stars.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very user friendly and easy to set up. Lots of channels to choose from. Many programs.to watch. I always watched Netflix on my computer and now it's so convenient to watch it on my TV. I wish I had bought one sooner.

Easy setup and interface

Bought this a month ago and find the content and device allow me to access items I already paid for but never used like NetFlix and Amazon Prime. Very good quality and interface.

Best streaming device I've used

I've been using my Roku 3 for about a month now. It is SO FAR superior to the Sony Blu-ray disc player I was using for streaming. This is true for all aspects, Search, Channels available, quality of streaming...it goes on and on.

Great Channel Selection

I reviewed both the Apple TV and ROKU extensively before making my purchase and I am very pleased that I chose the ROKU. There are a ton of channels to chose from and I especially like that you can plug a flash drive into the USB port.
