Really easy to install and get started. Features are great and again easy to use. This does everything it says and no hidden tricks or quirks. Very happy with it, great purchase. Oh, it's also very intuitive,

We are very pleased with the Roku 3,matter of fact ,we purchased two.If you can tie a shoe...you can set it up,that easy.With so many Apps the choices of programming seem endless.Only drawback is the time it takes you to make up your mind what to watch...there is so much !

The Roku 3 came with simple packaging, quick start instructions and I had the device attached to the back of the Flat Scren in short order. Total time to set and put the packaging in the recycle bin, 12 minutes. The private listening feature and game control is an extra bunus considering the price. Keep your products coming, great value for the $$$.

Helps reduce cable bill.

With so many choices on streaming channels, I was able to reduce my cable bill by $70 per month with the additional subscription to Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon Prime.

I love this better than Apple Tv

We bought this because we could use Aereo with it and save on our cable bill. It has been a great lifesaver, complementing Aereo and it's DVR abilities. We use it for Netflix as well. One of the things my husband noticed is how easy it is to navigate as opposed to using Apple TV. In fact it is easier to navigate Netflix than when we used the Nintendo Wii and the Apple.
There are many great add ons like the channel, Classic Reels which is a replacement for Turner Classics. It is always adding new movies. And there are many other channels like Crackle that work with this system. All these benefits make it easier to save on cable.
Another great aspect of this device is being able to plug head phones into the controller. Often I watch tv with closed captioning so I don't disturb my husband, but as I have gotten older, it can be hard to see the captions from a distance. So the remote allows me to watch tv without disturbing my husband or paying extra for wireless headphones.
I think it is a great device. It saves me money. And it is a product that is easy to use. You should buy it. My model the ROKU 3 also allows me to stream music and pictures through the little box. And there is an android App which comes in handy for controlling the ROKU as well.

Just What I Needed!

I love my Roku 3! I have it connected to my HDMI TV so using it is as simple as changing the channel. I can watch what I want, when I want with NO commercials on the Amazon Prime channel. Its great and convenient and I love the ear buds on the remote!
