Lots of great content in a small package

After recently getting a Roku about a month ago, I can honestly say that it's one of my favourite devices in the house. Easy to use, good amount of content and a great looking UI that's pretty snappy. If you're looking to cut the cord and don't want to have a full fledged HTPC, the Roku is one of the devices you must have. The Roku is also the best option for adding "smart" functionality to your "dumb" TVs. I am definitely looking forward to what Roku will do in the future.

Weak WiFi Reception and Faulty Ear Bud Units

I had to install a Sonos Bridge to extend our WiFi range to an area from which two computers had no trouble connecting to the same WiFi unit. Our WiFi unit is about 25', from that area. We purchased 2 Roku 3 units and the Ear Buds cut in and out on both units.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I LUV my Roku 3 it has a bundle of entertainment movies, kids stuff,exercise,music,
streams Netflix and other videos from my computer,Facebook,Amazon movies and upcoming movies.Great customer service!!!! Great for all ages!!

Love my new Roku

I got my Roku for Christmas a month ago and I use it almost every night. I only pay for basic cable, but I also have subscriptions to Netflix, Hulu Plus, and Amazon Prime. I can access all of these apps, and I've NEVER had anything freeze on me. Streams super fast! Very convenient. I also tried using the headphones with the remote control and they worked great! My boyfriend was able to sleep next to me while I watched a movie

Great Product BUT One Major Deficiency

Very easy to install and operate, but was extremely disappointed to discover there was no way to get a signal directly from the Roku 3 to zones 2 and 3 of my Denon receiver. There should be an optical output in addition to the HDMI. Had to purchase an additional device to split the signal into both HDMI and optical. Also would be very nice if there were a simple wireless keyboard accessory which could communicate with the Roku 3 without having to resort to a laptop or similar device to achieve key entry. Trying to use the onscreen keyboard with the remote is a major pain!

Great features - One thing missing

The Roku 3 has worked out to be the only interface we use over AppleTV, Chromecast and our PS3. The ONE feature that is critically missing is the ability to interface either a wireless or Bluetooth keyboard. I know that there are apps to make a phone do this but it's not convenient as having a micro keyboard right there all the time. So 4 out of 5 stars.

We got rid of cable and bought the roku 3 to have netflix. Love love love the price per month and the programs are amazing. Just purchased another roku for our bedroom. Wish we would have done this sooner! Definitely a great purchase
