I bought this a month ago, and my family calls me technically challanged, and I set this up very easily. Still lots to learn, but it is easy to use and is great!

great accessory for generation 1 smart TVs

Got this for Christmas. Apps on our gen 1 smart TV were frustrating because of lack of updates and support. The box is super tiny and the remote is pretty sensitive. It's great to revitalize our current TV until we're ready to buy a new one.

Great product. I've been using it for over a month and I like it a lot. Plenty of channels to watch for free. Only wish is that it had a keyboard to facilitate typing.

convenient way to help cut the cord

I have a ROKU LT as well but the is a MUCH better box. Very fast, super easy to hook up. Discontinued cable, saving me a lot of money. Now subscribe only to Hulu Plus and Netflix. Use a digital antenna and the combo is saving me about $40 a month.
I like this Roku 3 and will soon be adding another for a different room.

This little device is much more than it seems at first. I've only had mine a short time and from what I've seen so far I am impressed. There is a very wide variety of shows available, though some of them are quite old. But, this is also one of the reasons why I like this. I love the classics. From the old Hollywood stuff, to the cheesy black and white horror movies of the 1950s, to the over-the-top Kung Fu and exploitation movies of the 1970s, and the slasher, action, and Sci Fi movies of the 1980s. You will find a little but of all this on your Roku. I team it up with Netflix and I can now watch the shows that I want to watch whenever I want without 100 extremely annoying commercials blaring in my face every hour. There are a few ads on some of the channels but its nowhere near as bad as it is on cable. There are some premium channels that you have to pay extra for but still more than enough free ones to keep you occupied if you're an occasional TV watcher like me.
