I watch Netflix and Hulu plus on this in my office. It is awesome! I have Apple TV in another room. I think the Roku is more user friendly.

The best smart TV device available. PERIOD

I have several smart TV devices. 2 different Sony BluRay players, Vizio E Series Led TV, a Vizio Co-star and a Roku.
Channels, it's all about channels for the Roku.
Unlike Tvs and Blu-Ray players Roku's channels can be expanded, updated and corrected. I have several different generations of Netflix apps on my devices. The most up to date one is for the Roku. I had purchased the Vizio Co-star to try browser based Smart TV. One of my favorite web sites was playing my amazon cloud music. When I saw the Roku channel for Amazon Cloud Player I was sold.
Roku is the best available. It is a great source of content for cable/dish cutters. Let's hope the content producers continue to expand channel offering, and some one somewhere figures out to offer access to espn, hbo go, and other restrictive sites for people without "authorized content provider".
Get an Nfl channel.

its super fast wifi .. estetico compact, stylish, modern, very lightweight design and with that new processor very quickly that stands out from other media boxes ........ and perfect control for games.

I am really enjoying this roku 3 that I bought for myself a little after Christmas. It is such a great alternative when you pay so much for cable tv and still find nothing on. I simply put on the Roku and can always find something entertaining to watch. Also, at a birthday party recently, family was over and we put on some of the games that were included and played them together. So it is so versatile. Definite good decision. I wish they would find a way to just have regular live tv and do away with the cable box rental and I would be able to be free from being a captive to all the fees of Comcast forver!

Hooked on TV again

Been 5 years since I've had cable. I've been watching all of my TV on my computer, and now the Roku enables me to watch it in a little more civilized manner.
It's been great so far. The only issue I have is sometimes the video will time out, even if my internet is up and running just fine. It can get pretty annoying sometimes, honestly.
