Great device!

I bought Roku to lower my overall cable bill. It is a great device that provides a lot of great channels. Most aren't "live" channels (though there is more live content than I originally thought), but the content and number of channels is outstanding.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Have had this for about a month and it works better than I expected. Streams well with a ethernet connection. Have had one issue with the sound going in slow motion but it works fine if I reboot. Highly recommend this to avoid paying Comcast or Directv!

We bought two one for each of our televisions. We were able to use one on our newer television but could not install it in the 9 year old television.

I got this as a gift and I really enjoy it. Now I don't have to use my xbox in order to watch netflix, plus there are alot of cool channels. Now if they could add some sort of browser. Or even better, an app to allow it to connect to a tablet or laptop, it could be better than apple tv.
Until then, I'd say apple tv is better if you have other apple products. If you don't, roku is probably your best bet for internet streaming

Great Little Box

Allows me to search for music videos to play thru my home theater with my great sound system. The problem is the tedious search method. The system needs a keyboard option.

Asked Santa for a Roku 3 for Christmas. I did not know I was asking for another expense! The idea is great though. Love the YouTube channel.

Let me begin by saying that I am 64 y/o. I was completely amazed at how easy it was to initiate this device and learn how to use it. The features are excellent and the channels are great. We bought it for Netflix so we wouldn't have to use our laptop to watch movies. I particularly like the headphone jack on the remote. Keep up the good work. It would be nice to have Skype on it also but I don't know if that is possible.
