I have been trying to cut back on my cable bill for sometime. I don't want to miss out on the shows I like. I think with this device I'll be able to cut the cord. The streaming is flawless.....

Great Product

Happy with my purchase. When I connect the Roku 3 to my TV without receiver /surround sound it works fine. But when I tried to connect to another TV with a receiver the audio would not work unless I plug the remote to the receiver. Having the wire across the room is not cool. Overall I like this product.

Love British TV!

I love Roku! I love British TV and I watched Koku at my cousins house!! I love all the shows and am disappointed when they were on for only season, because I want to see more!! I would like to see less investigation/cop shows and more comedy, adventure and drama series. But all in all I love it!

Easy to use

The Roku 3 is easy to set up - reasonably intuitive. Once linked to the internet it's relatively easy to use. The streaming choices are more than adequate. It's almost enough to cut cable. The only thing it doesn't do is give you real-time news and network programming.

We like the device very well and streaming via ethernet is flawless. The only thing we'd like to see is a remote app for Windows phone 8. There are free and paid apps but none of them work to enter text, which is the main advantage.

Got this for Christmas and have used it constantly: from streaming Spotify through our home entertainment sound system without need for a computer to watching episodes of TV shows we've missed. Getting ready to shed cable altogether. Had gotten a blue-ray player a couple years ago that had a Netflix interface (a sloooow one). Our cable provider also has back episodes of some shows in an on-demand channel. But the Roku's interface and image quality outpaces both of those options hands down. The new YouTube channel is superb as well. Finally, I edit videos professionally and it's so easy to watch my finished product on my big-screen TV now, streaming the file from my computer's hard drive via the Plex channel. Big plus. Buying the Roku is a no-brainer.
I would recommend this to a friend!
