Roku streams video no problem(and I only have 3Mbit bandwidth). Remote has strong signal, not blocked by furniture, don't have to worry about being in the right signal angle(like with Wii-mote), button response is also very good(very little "sloppyness"). Setup is very easy. Other than entering WiFi password, you barely have to do anything.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Roku 3 was a great purchase. I am a non-techy and set up of the unit was easy and fast. I was pleasantly surprised by all the channels available, ease of use and the simple but effective remote.

We've been using this for over a month now, mainly for Plex. Works seamlessly all the time on our Sony Bravia 1080p HDTV. The only problem is in that some 1080p movies I'm unable to remove the black line top and bottom of the screen. This is easily achieved on a Mac by simply pressing 'z' until the desired aspect ratio is found.

I Love my Roku 3 Player which I received as a Christmas gift last year. I had previously canceled my satellite TV service as I'd planned on getting rid of it by January 1, anyway.
I read the included Get Started guide, which was very clear and easy to understand, before I even tried to hook it up – so I had NO PROBLEMS installing it -- and I am 69 years old! Also, the package that I received (from Walmart, I think) had everything included such as batteries, headphone and an HDMI cable.
It came right up, and there were some pre-selected channels on the menu, but I immediately checked out the Channel Store and selected a few more free and for-fee services.
Now I am a channel-hopping expert and I watch ONLY those news, movies, TV and special interest channels that I want to watch WHEN I want to watch them.
