Great way to each TV

I am no longer paying for cable and saving $100/mos. using the Roku. What could be better ? It's easy, small, works great. I'm very happy.

Roku 3 Review

I received the Roku 3 as a gift this past Christmas; thank goodness because I would be a lot more upset if I had to actually pay for this product myself. The setup was easy enough, however, after 1 week of use, while using Amazon Prime to watch an instant video, I got the HDCP Unauthorized purple screen of death. Since then, we have not been able to use the Roku 3 to watch anything successfully. I am in the process of trying to get the sales receipt from my brother (who purchased this for me as a gift), and will most likely be returning it and buying another (non-Roku) product. I read a number of online reviews and forums, and not sure if this is correct, but Roku is not acknowledging this problem???? I will do a little bit more research on this before returning and deciding for good and starting to spread the word on this product to all friends and family. Sincerely hope Roku has a fix for this or is currently, very actively, developing a fix.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best Streaming device on the market

I cut my cable and opted for free over the Air TV and a Roku. After having my Roku3 for only a couple of months it stopped working from a power surge and I went back to cable. Bad choice, my family missed the Roku and prefer the Roku over cable. I also have other smart devices that stream media but the Roku allows more freedom and has more apps or channels (however you want to describe it). Roku finally added the youtube channel which is a definite plus and makes my roku experience even better.
The only thing missing that I wish it had is an optical audio output.

So easy! So fun!

I am so thrilled with the ease of use and channel access I have with my Roku 3. Set up was a piece of cake and flipping around through it is too. There are way more channel options than I need. I especially love the PBS option. My only complaint is that some times - I think this has only happened with PBS - the loading of the show occurs while I'm watching it so it times out every few minutes. That's a pain, but it doesn't happen with most shows. It would also be very cool if I could hookup my iTunes to it. Pandora rocks but it would be nice to add in my personal music collection as well. Hopefully in time. All-in-all I am elated with this cute little contraption that has brought much higher-quality TV, movies and music into my world. Thank you Roku 3!

I received the Roku 3 for Christmas and love it. Easy to connect and get going. I primarily use it for Netflx, Amazon, and HBO GO. Great reception, easy to use. I'm slowly trying other channels and they all work beautifully.

Wonderful, just missing a browser

I would fully recommend this to anyone if it only had a basic web browser built it. With open source options like Firefox, it would be a great addition and allow for complete replacement of the PC i was using before.

Love my new Roku 3

I got my Roku 3 as a Christmas gift but only after lots of research and discussion with my spouse. We also looked at Apple TV and Chromecast. All have their pros and cons, but I am happily satisfied with my decision. The Roku was easy to set up, works flawlessly and gives me lots of option on how and what to watch (I am seriously considering giving up satellite and just going with Roku and some subscription services).
I would recommend this to a friend!
