Lifesaver!

After changing satellite service, we somehow lost some of the episodes that we recorded of our favorite tv series. The only way to view some of the lost episodes was through amazon prime and the only way to view that was on my computer. I was unable to view amazon prime episodes on my phone or tablet. Roku to the rescue! I am now able to view all the episodes on my tv using Roku. I am also using Netflix a lot more now that I'm able to view it on my tv. Roku was very easy to set up and I haven't had any problems with it. I highly recommend Roku!

Have been following Roku, finally pulled trigger, and glad I did! Great product, great quality -- one or two more apps and then it's time to get rid of cable..

Finally a way to "cut the cord" with Satellite. My bills had been progressively going up over the past 10 years! No deals for steady customers...besides I found I only watched a few of the many channels. I love my Roku 3! It gets all the shows I usually watch and the quality and simplicity is wonderful.

We have purchased two of these media players. The first was for our daughter, who is attending college and lives in a room where cable TV is not available nor is satellite. She was so happy with it that we purchased a second one for ourselves. We are considering reducing our satellite TV package because we are watching more on the Roku 3. We are very pleased with this product.

Almost a cable replacement

This thing is wonderful!!
Our Roku 3 has almost entirely replaced our cable box. Except for same-day broadcasts of some network shows we use the Roku and Netflix or Amazon Instant Video for all TV watching. I am aware that come channels have the same shows we watch soon after the air broadcast but have not tried them yet, when we do I may ditch Cable entirely.
