Would not stay connected to Hulu or Netflix

I could not get the Roku to stay connected to Hulu or Netflix. I would get a connection to internet error 3-5 times watching a show. I have a cable modem with 50mbs and the connection strength was excellent. Returned the Roku3 and purchased a Roku2xs which has not arrived yet. I'll give that one a try and see if it's any better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had my Roku 3 for just over a month. So far I have to say I am pretty pleased with it. I used to use my PS3 for watching Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and listening to a few music channels. With the Roku, it is faster for me to get to movies and shows and not to mentions music. Also the Roku has much larger library of channels to choose from not to mention there are a large number of private channels that are just as diverse and interesting to discover.

We received ours as a Christmas gift. So far we have been happy with it. We haven't explored all the options yet. But like the fact it gives you suggestions by what you have already seen or viewed.

HBO GO is sad on Roku

I bought Roku to watch HBO GO, perhaps it is HBO's fault but there is constant buffering even with double the Roku recommended internet speed.
