A Welcome Addition

The Roku was easy to set up, and is very easy to use. It enables access to a large number of streaming video sites which feature a large variety of content. Some of the content requires a paid subscription or fee per use. I am very impressed with the picture and sound quality of the delivered media. It streams through the Roku without ever pausing or pixilating.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works great, when it works

Got this a little over a month ago. The available channel selection is great for me and when it works it's great. More of an annoyance but I need to reboot the Roku weekly otherwise it'll pretend to play; but the loading progress bar gets to 100% and hangs. Reboot and everything works great for a few days.

Love How Much It Can Do!

Over the holiday I used it at my mother's house. I was able to go to my Amazon account and watch several tv shows I had purchased. I was able to plug in my USB drive and watch videos from that too. It was fun!

We really like our new roku. The negatives are that sometimes we loose signal and that it only likes certain tv's. We just happened to have the right tv in our house. Kept getting blue unauthorized screen. Now that it's hooked up to different tv, works great...

I like it immensely except for one small thing, it is hard to get back to browse without a stop button. I wouldn't give it up for another brand though.

The most efficient way to defeat bandwidth choke.

I do all my streaming via Roku3 now. It has essentially eliminated the bandwidth choking I always get when I send the ATT signal through my BluRay DVD. Even thought the Netflix is coming via the ATT Broadband (hi speed) the DVD conduit was obviously slowing it down.
