I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He was frustrated that our dish system would fail whenever there was bad weather, so I thought this would be a great replacement. We are very pleased!

I bought it as a Christmas gift for my family, but my husband has totally taken command of it. We hardly get to use it because he's always hogging the programming.

Great way to watch movies you like

I've used the Roku 3 for a couple of months and feel this is far better than movie channels on Dish, Direct TV or cable.

I purchased this item not really knowing what to expect. After hooking it up to the TV, which was very easy, I was amazed at the quality and the selection that was offered.

Smarter than my smart TV

I bought this when it became apparent that my Smart Samsung (2011) doesn't support a number of channels such as Amazon Instant. I used an ethernet connection and it's fast. Even selections on Netflix or Vudu, which my Samsung does support, load much faster than on my smart TV too. The Roku 3 box doesn't even have to be in sight to use the remote. Love it.

I really enjoy the chance to watch so many channels for free. I do not have cable or a dish. I have Clear and stream my television and computer programs. Roku gives me a chance to watch channels like Netflix, Hulu and Amazon prime on my TV instead of the computer and it so much better on the "big screen" I've enjoyed watching other channels as well, like PBS and the History channel. Great little device. I'm spoiled now! :-)
