Easy to use, lots of fun channels, quick streaming

I got this as a Christmas gift and I LOVE it. If you've got wifi and basic knowledge of using streaming applications, you'll be enjoying great movies and TV shows in no time. The set-up is very easy and the product is trustworthy!

Good Channel Lineup, but is missing RAI Italian

I'm very satisfied with my Roku 3, but am disappointed that the "RAI Italian" channels are not available !! Hopefully in the near future the RAI channel will be a new addition to the Roku 3 channel lineup ..

I am fairly happy with the Roku unit, which was a Christmas present. The RF interface works well with most features offered on the unit and by its provider partners. The navigation and selection controls are generally very intuitive. However, I do have some recommendations for you. Please provide the option to display provider services in an “alpha” list format, not just in the icon “grid”. When I’m looking for one of the services, I need to remember where it appears in the grid display rather than easily navigating to it alphabetically. I realize that the providers of movies, TV shows and other services control their own display formats. But it wouldn’t hurt to make this suggestion to them. (Or make it a requirement for inclusion as one of your supported services.) This would greatly reduce search time to content that the user has already decided watch. As it is now, I feel as though I’m rummaging through a bin of VHS tapes or DVDs when searching for a movie to watch.
Another useful feature for the unit would be an “audio volume throughput equalizer.” I’m not talking about the usual auto-level circuit found in most TV audio circuits. I’m talking about a control at your source server to equalize the REFERENCE 0-dB audio level. When I play Angry Birds, I have to reduce my TV volume from its typical setting (80 or 85) down to 4 or 5. Any higher setting threatens both my hearing and the TV’s speaker cones. The game provider has obviously encoded this at a MUCH higher level than other Roku service providers. (This could also be a requirement in the technical specs to your suppliers.
Finally, consider an on-screen battery-low indicator for the controller. The batteries in mine went out without notice in the middle of a movie and, by the time I found replacements, half the movies had been missed by me and my guests.
Again, I like the unit and entertainment/information realm it opens up to me.

Awesome & Money Saver

I received this as a Christmas Gift from my parents and it is amazing for the amount of TV I watch. Much cheaper than a cable bill every month, and has most of everything available that I normally watch. The shows play without commercials, big plus for me since most commercials now are not kid-friendly.

It's great, but limited channels in Canada

I love the product, however, I'm frustrated with the limited number of channels that are available in Canada. Between support for Netflix and Plex, I've got the basics, but nothing compared with the channels that are made available in the U.S.

Bought my Roku 3 for Christmas. We've been stuck in front of the TV ever since. I'm caught up in the Good Wife series and have seen numerous movies on Amazon Prime. I bought the Roku and Amazon Prime to replace my Blockbuster subscription. It's a great combination.
