I recently purchased the roku3 and I must say...wow! My TV experience has taken a turn for the best. I was so dissatisfied with regular TV (even with on demand) . All the reality shows and the same movies constantly being replayed. Now I chose what I want, when I want it. Every series,every season. If I pay for movies, they are recent and limitless.....it's a new day thanks to roku.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My boyfriend had bought Roku for me as a Christmas present. I was hesitant at first because I had never heard of it before....but now I am TOTALLY hooked! Along with my roommates, were are able to enjoy the features of Hulu Plus, Netflix, Amazon, and many others! I haven't come across a problem yet with it, which is great. I couldn't be more of a satisfied customer.

We bought this right after Christmas with the plan to cancel cable at the new year. We cancelled cable and have not looked back. The Roku is so user friendly and the amount of material you have to chose from is great. From paid channels like Netflix and Hulu Plus to all the free ones like Pandora, PBS, and many many others.
The remote is very simple in design and function. The only downside to that is when you are searching for something where you have to type, you have to move from letter to letter with the direction pad. Other than that, only positives with the Roku.

Great Streamer

This has been a great streaming content player. We have had no issues with the unit itself...gets a little choppy when on the web and streaming at the same time, but that is most likely due to our internet service.
Would like to see the remote be a universal.

Received as a Christmas Gift, and I have absolutely loved using it since then! The easy to use interface and speed at which the device operates is unparalleled, and the ability it gives me to go anywhere and maintain a connection to my media is flat out awesome!

I tried the streaming that came with my smart tv and it was horrible the way it kept dropping the signal. I went out and bought another system the was advised and it was not any better. I was given the Roku 3 as a gift and it is outstanding. We watch several movies a week and we have not had one dropped signal.
