Love the headphone feature

Got the roku 3 for Christmas and love it. I can watch all my movies stored on my portable hard drive with ease. I love the feature of being able to watch shows using the headphones as I don't disturbed others in my household. I also love the headphone feature as I can go throw in a load of laundry or do other household chores and still listen to the show I am watching. Hopefully roku Canada will soon get access to more American channels then it will make it more worthwhile and I would love to have the ability to go onto the internet as well.

Great device for TV.

I wasn't sure about this device before buying. I owned couple of media devices before getting this one, one from WD and another from LG. But I guess so far this was one of the best purchase I ever made in electronics. You can add, remove channels. Having youtube is big plus in this and specially if you pair this with your phone. I also subscribe dishworld. So far no problem. The only thing is it can't play avi kind of video files. But If you use Mediaplex server. You can even by pass this shortcoming.

Super easy to use

We had struggled with a Sony Blu-Ray to stream Netflix. It would constantly freeze up making it unwatchable. Decided to buy a Roku 3. Took two minutes to install, and has been a breeze. Also love having the app on my phone so I don't even need to get up to find the remote!!

It's compact and relatively easy to set up and a lot of free channels to choose from. On the downside, there's precious little information on how the unit works.

The Roku 3 was given to me as a Christmas present this year. I have used it much more than my XBox for my streaming needs. It is small and makes no noise. The video quality is awesome! The device gets warm and I am hoping long term this is not going to pose an issue for me.
