Great device for streaming

I have had my Roku for about a month. It has worked flawlessly and results in a excellent picture with fast streaming that is never interrupted. The channels I do use are fine for the type of viewing I do. I did add Hulu Plus, and the jury is still out on this one. I plan to add one more Roku to the house before long.
I would recommend this to a friend!

All is excellent with Roku3
One Suggestion: be able to control TV audio from Roku remote control (as similar when controlling sound volume with headphones)

There are so many reviews rating this highly I'll just add some comments about some new features and specifics to what I love and have been doing with this:
- Roku recently added youtube to its channel line up. I'm a documentary freak and there are so literally thousands of full length documentaries on youtube - if this was all the Roku could do it would be worth the money. You don't have to search for them on the Roku either - you can pair your youtube account with your Roku device and search for them on the computer and then add them to what's called a "watch later" list to pull up on your Roku. This completely eliminates the need to search for stuff with the remote. Ingenious!
- My Blu Ray player handles Netflix, but if you have one that doesn't the Roku 3 does and it's a cinch to spend the 8 bucks a month for Netflix streaming and you're well on your way to watching some decent films and TV shows.
- My Blu Ray player did NOT do Amazon Prime and this is one of the primary reasons I wanted the Roku - now the 80 bucks a year I pay for free 2 day shipping on Amazon (well worth it for this alone) - I now get access to all of Amazon's free streaming for Prime members.
If all I got from the Roku was the above? Well worth the cost.
But there's more. A lot more. Hundreds of other channels which you can add to your account - most of them free.
I'm a gadget freak and this is one of the best gadgets I've ever seen. Well done, Roku.
Oh and if you're comparing it to Chromecast i believe Google just killed the ability to use Chromecast as a media server completely destroying the ability of Chromecast to stream your own content, which the Roku does very well (via DLNA with an application like Plex or what I use - Nero Media Home 4).
They even include some earphones that hook to the remote so you won't keep your SO up all night if you can't tear yourself away from it which - by the way, you won't be able to do.
The bottom line is the Roku3 is a total winner.
You're gonna love this box.

I purchased this not knowing what to expect, someone said EVERYTHING is free, well that's not true, if you purchase a movie from Blockbuster you pay - but a LOT of shows you don't pay for
